Growth, austerity to coexist in policies, Premier Letta says
'No ideological conflict between the two'

(ANSA) - Rome, May 10 - Italian Premier Enrico Letta on
Friday said there would be no conflict between austerity and
growth in his left-right administration's policies.
"We have no intention of posing an ideological conflict
when it comes to public finances. We share a belief in the need
to keep our accounts in order, and there will be no ideological
conflict between austerity and growth," Letta at a press
conference with European Parliament Speaker Martin Schulz.
