Flash floods in Genoa wash away two cars in landslide (ANSA) - Genoa, April 2 - Flash floods hammering northern Italy sparked a landslide in the port city of Genoa on Tuesday, sweeping two parked cars into a ravine. No one was inside the vehicles. Several buildings around the flood-prone city have been isolated by rising water. The rains have brought back painful memories of October 2011, when the Po River overflowed and killed six people, including two children, and caused extensive damage.
