Immigrants in serious condition found near Slovenian border
Police say four men travelled from Greece mostly by foot

(ANSA) - Trieste, March 22 - Four illegal immigrants who
travelled from Greece, mostly by foot, were found in serious
health conditions by police near the border with Slovenia on
Friday.Three men from Somalia and one from Syria between the ages of 19 and 39 were found lying on the side of the road near the city of Trieste by border police who administered first aid and called ambulances.
Police said that the group were trying to reach northern Europe and had travelled much of their journey by foot exposed to harsh weather conditions and without food and water.
