Italian debt to rise by 20 billion euros in 2013, 2014
Finance minister Grilli unveils plans at press conference

(ANSA) - Rome, March 21 - Italy may increase its debt load
by an additional 20 billion euros in 2013 and by the equivalent
amount in 2014, according to comments made by Italian Finance
Minister Vittorio Grilli on Thursday.
Our proposal is that of "increasing our potential debt by
20 billion euros year for each year, in 2013 and 2014, in order
to create the funds availability" to make payments, Grilli said.Grilli, who is part of caretaker Premier Mario Monti's government, was speaking at a press conference in which he unveiled government plans to pay its outstanding debts to companies.
