Italian companies' credit crunch is becoming more acute
Confindustria cites 5% drop in corporate loans since sept 2011

(ANSA) - Rome, March 21 - The credit crunch Italy's
companies are currently facing is becoming increasingly acute,
according to employers association Confindustria.In January, loans to companies slumped 0.2% from the previous month, and dropped a total of 5% from September 2011, eroding a total of 46 million euros from the funds banks are offering their corporate clientele, according to the latest monthly report released by Confindustria.
Companies are ''suffering due to lack of funds'', Confindustria said.
