Fiat CEO says company will reach its 2013 financial targets

First quarter trading profits lower than last year's

(ANSA) - Geneva, March 19 - Italian car maker Fiat SpA Chief Executive Sergio Marchionne said on Tuesday that his company would reach its 2013 financial targets. "The 2013 targets are confirmed," Marchionne said after a shareholder meeting of SGS, a Swiss company controlled by the Agnelli family and on whose board he sits.

However, Marchionne said that the Fiat's trading profit for the first quarter of 2013 would be "lower with respect to the same period of 2012".
