Unicredit posts 865-million-euro net profit in 2012
Board proposes dividend payment of 9 euro cents per share

(ANSA) - Milan, March 15 - Unicredit posted a net profit of
865 million euros in 2012 according to results published by the
Italian banking group Friday.
This compares with a net loss of 9.2 billion euros due to
devaluations the previous year.
In light of the upturn, the board of directors proposed a
dividend distribution from profit reserves of 9 euro cents per
share.Instead fourth quarter results for 2012 show a net loss of 553 million euros.
This compares to a profit of 114 million euros in the same period in 2011 and of 335 million euros in the third quarter of 2012.
