Ex-director of historic Naples library gets 7 years in jail
Also banned from public office for book disappearances

(ANSA) - Naples, March 15 - The ex-director of the
Girolamini library for antique manuscripts in Naples was
convicted and sentenced to seven years in prison on Friday for
the disappearance of hundreds of precious volumes.
The sentencing judge Egle Pilla also banned the
ex-director, Marino Massimo De Caro, from ever holding a public
office again.
