Stolen Paolo Veneziano crucifix returned after 67 years (ANSA) - Venice, March 11 - A panel in the form of a crucifix by medieval Venetian master Paolo Veneziano has returned to Venice after being stolen 67 years ago. The table was uncovered last year in a private residence in Germany by local authorities. Measuring 280 by 250 centimeters, the table was painted between 1335-1345 and depicts Christ with the Virgin and Saint John on the arms with an angel up above.
