Gemina, Atlantia agree to merger terms
Benetton-controlled companies to finalize deal at end of year

(ANSA) - Rome, March 8 - Italian highways builder Atlantia
and sister business Gemina have agreed on merger terms, the
companies announced on Friday.Both companies are controlled by infrastructure holding group Sintonia, which is controlled by the Benetton clothing dynasty. Gemina owns ADR, the operator of Rome's Fiumicino and Ciampino airports. The deal is expected to be finalized at the end of the year, the companies said in a joint statement.
