Storm isolates Capri from Italian mainland
Waves and wind continue to lash Amalfi coast

(ANSA) - Napoli, March 6 - Violent storms isolated the
island of Capri from the Italian mainland on Wednesday and
storms continued to blow along the Amalfi coast in southern
Italy.Waves splashed onto beachfront property at Marina Piccola and Faraglioni, flooding bars and restaurants while a strong northwest wind and choppy sailing conditions interrupted ship lines from Naples and Sorrento, the parts closest to the Mediterranean resort island.
