Milan stock market closes flat
Italian-German spread at 319 points

(ANSA) - Milan, March 6 - The Milan stock exchange closed
an uneventful trading day with losses in the last 15 minutes of
trading.
The FTSE-Mib index closed down 0.46% at 15,899 points.
The spread between Italian and German bonds, a key measure
of Italy's borrowing costs and of investor confidence in the
country's ability to weather the eurozone crisis, closed at 319
points.
Markets were cautious ahead of a European Central Bank
meeting Thursday, analysts said.
In London, the FTSE-100 index closed down 0.07% at 6,427.64
points, Madrid's Ibex 35 index lost 0.76% to close at 8,358.90
points, and the Paris Cac 40 index fell by 0.35% to 3,773.76
points.In Frankfurt, the Dax exchange bucked the European trend, adding 0.62% to close at 7,919.33 points.
