(ANSA) - Vatican City, March 6 - The last two cardinal
electors for the conclave to elect Benedict XVI's successor will
be in Rome by Thursday, Vatican Spokesman Father Federico
Lombardi said Wednesday.Kazimiers Nycz of Poland is expected to arrive later Wednesday and Jean Baptiste Pahm Minh Man of Vietnam will come Thursday, he said.
"By tomorrow all the (115) cardinal electors will be in Rome," Lombardi said. A date for the conclave will be set after the pair have had a chance to take part in the final congregations general ahead of the secret gathering in the Sistine Chapel.
The conclave was set to get under way on March 11 but since cardinals are taking more time than expected to examine the problems facing the Catholic Church that date is now believed to be premature.
