Parish pizzeria opens in Italy for recession-hit needy
Risen Christ church dishes out pies 'at anti-crisis prices'

(ANSA) - Padua, March 4 - A Catholic church in Italy has
opened up a pizza parlour inside the parish to serve low-priced
food during the recession.
With the help of 80 volunteers, the Church of the Risen
Christ in Padua offers the food to families at "anti-crisis
prices," according to a flier.The cooks underwent special training by professional pizza makers and offer a variety of pizzas found in traditional pizzerias, local reports say. (photo: archive picture of pizza maker)
