(ANSA) - Rome, March 1 - The number of workers on short-term
contracts in Italy hit 2.375 million in 2012, the highest since
1993, Istat said Friday.The number of 'collaborators' on even more precarious contracts rose to a record 433,000, the highest since 2004.
In all, the statistics agency said, Italy had 2.8 million workers without a steady job last year.
