Italy not without a government, says Napolitano (ANSA) - Berlin, March 1 - Italian President Giorgio Napolitano said that "Italy is not without a government", commenting on Sunday and Monday's stalemate result of national elections.

Speaking to journalists on a State visit to Germany, Napolitano said that there was no need for snap elections to break the no-winner elections.

"I'm not interested in a new vote," he said in a speech at Berlin Humboldt University.
