Italian president underlines that all EU 'in the same boat'

(ANSA) - Berlin, March 1 - Even the "robust German economy
is exposed" to heavy blows from the pan-European recession,
Italian President Giorgio Napolitano said on Friday during a
State visit to Germany."We are all in the same boat," Napolitano, who has voiced concern over growing populism and anti-EU sentiment in Europe, told journalists in Berlin.
"It would be legitimate to wait for expansion to be boosted by Germany as a contribution to real, not just forecast, growth and employment recovery in Europe".
