Maurizio Zuccaro convicted of murder and destroying bodies

(ANSA) - Catania, March 1 - Italian police on Friday seized 30 million euros in assets from Cosa Nostra lifer Maurizio Zuccaro.

Zuccaro, 52, a relative of jailed Catania superboss Bendetto 'Nitto' Santapaola, is serving life for murder and destroying bodies.

A 'man of honour' in the Santapaola clan, Zuccaro is under house arrest for health reasons.
