Couple rescued after fleeing from wild boars (ANSA) - Bologna, February 27 - Two lost hikers in the Apennine mountains near Bologna were rescued by police on Wednesday after fleeing from a herd of wild boars.

The couple lost their way partially due to snowy conditions and poor visibility after they ran to escape the group of animals.

Police said the excursionists who called for help by mobile phone were tired, but in good health when they were found.
