Economics lecturer makes off with 20 million euros
Conned investors go to police after teacher skips class

(ANSA) - Bari, February 26 - Finance police on Tuesday
arrested an economics lecturer from the University of Bari at
her home in the city of Albano Laziale near Rome for allegedly
embezzling approximately 20 million euros of investor money.Investigators say that Caterina Coco took money from at least 10 people wanting to turn a profit on various investments, but that she never returned the money or provided financial details of the operations.
An arrest warrant was issued after Coco did not show up to teach her university courses or to give scheduled exams.
