EU Commission has 'confidence' in Italy's democratic process

(ANSA) - Brussels, February 26 - The European Commission
said on Tuesday the it has "full confidence in the country's
democratic process" following Italian national elections that
have ended in a stalemate.
"Italy is one of the great founding nations (of the EU) and
we will work together to boost growth and job creation in
Italy," a spokesman for the Commission said commenting on the
elections.
