(ANSA) - Rome, February 25 - Italy's centre left said Monday
that going to the polls again in the near future would not be a
good solution, with the country's election looking poised to end
in a stalemate on Monday."We are waiting for the final results before (envisioning) scenarios about the post-election period," said Enrico Letta, a senior figure in the main centre-left Democratic Party.
"We are still hopeful. The hypothesis of another early election would not be the solution".
