Italian inflation on food hits four-year high in January
Sharpest spike since 2009

(ANSA) - Rome, February 22 - Food prices rose 3.2% in
January, the sharpest spike since February 2009, national
statistics agency Istat reported Friday.The four-year high outpaced inflation for the month, which was 2.2%.
Prices on products most commonly bought were up 2.7%.
