(ANSA) - Vatican City, February 21 - The head of the
Vatican's press service, Father Federico Lombardi, on Thursday
said it was impossible to determine when the conclave to elect a
new pope will begin.''The start date of the conclave is established by the congregation of the cardinals. It is impossible to determine the date prior to the decision of the congregation of cardinals," Lombardi said.
