Police close unauthorized nursing home near Naples

Disabled and bedridden guests living in 'precarious' conditions

(ANSA) - Naples, February 20 - An unauthorized center housing elderly residents was seized and closed by police near Naples on Wednesday.

Police said that 17 disabled and bedridden patients were being forced to live in unhygienic and precarious conditions in the unauthorized nursing home. The patients are now in the care of state social services.
