Italian tourists attacked with guns, machetes in Kenya

(ANSA) - Rome, February 20 - A group of Italian tourists has
been attacked by assailants with guns and machetes in Malindi,
Kenya, the Italian foreign ministry said Wednesday.One Italian man has been taken to hospital after being shot, although he is reportedly not in a life-threatening condition.
A gang of six hooded assailants attacked a series of tourist villas and robbed the people in them, an eye witness told ANSA. Two weeks ago an Italian woman was lucky to survive after being shot in the throat in Kenya.
