(ANSA) - Modena, February 18 - A woman has been detained
after a dead newborn baby was found in a washing machine in her
house in Carpi, near the northern Italian city of Modena.Police checked the Moldovan woman's home and found the baby after she went to a hospital emergency room with bleeding that doctors could see was from a birth, even though she denied this.
She is accused of homicide and hiding a dead body.
