Grillo's face is 'scary', says ex-premier (ANSA) - Monza, February 18 - Anti-establishment leader of the Five Star Movement (M5S), comedian Beppe Grillo, did well to cancel his TV interview on Sunday night because "his face is scary," ex-premier Silvio Berlusconi said on Monday.

Centre-right leader Berlusconi told Sky TV reporters that Grillo's natural stage was a soapbox.

Grillo's M5S was rated third in the polls with 15% before a pre-election blackout of surveys kicked in earlier this month.

The Genoa comic and recently emerged political tub-thumper, who uses the Internet and rallies to spread his message, was meant to give a rare interview to Sky Italia on Sunday but he cancelled it at the last minute.
