Teacher gets three years for sex with 14-year-old student

(ANSA) - Piacenza, February 15 - A male high-school teacher
in the northern town of Piacenza received a jail term of three
years Friday for having sex with a 14-year-old female student.The unnamed computer-studies teacher, 46, was cleared of a second count of trying to have sex with another young student. Prosecutors said the man tried to get sex from teenage students in exchange for higher marks.
He allegedly selected girls on the basis of their looks and sent them Facebook messages.
Police were alerted to the case by other students who complained that better-looking classmates were getting undeservedly high marks.
