Sanremo audience still strong on second night
Some 43% of Italian TV viewers tuned into the song festival14 February, 13:16
The first part of the show was watched by almost 12.5 million people, equal to a 42.21% share of the Italian television market, according to media surveyor Auditel.
The second half of the broadcast, in the late night slot, was seen by some 6.6 million viewers, or a share of about 49%.
On average, the second night of the annual festival, in its 63rd edition, had a 42.89% audience share. On the first night, the broadcasts - hosted by comedians Fabio Fazio and Luciana Littizetto - were seen by some 6 million more viewers.
