Finmeccanica trading frozen as India halts 'copter purchase
Board meets on new governance

(ANSA) - Milan, February 13 - Trading in Finmeccanica stock
was suspended for an excessive fall on the Milan bourse
Wednesday as India announced it was halting the purchase of 12
helicopters from the defence giant's AgustaWestland unit amid a
probe into suspected kickbacks.Shares fell over 5% ahead of a Finmeccanica board meeting on new governance after CEO Giuseppe Orsi was arrested Tuesday in relation to the probe.
The Italian government voiced confidence the board would take "the right decisions".
Three of the 'copters have already been delivered.
