Prosecutors close health-sector probe into Formigoni
Faces charges of criminal conspiracy

(ANSA) - Milan, February 12 - Milan prosecutors closed a
multi-million-euro fraud investigation Tuesday into the
Pavia-based Maugeri health-care foundation and suspects
including outgoing Lombardy Governor Roberto Formigoni.
Formigoni, who denies wrongdoing, faces charges of criminal
conspiracy related to health-sector contracts.
He was among 17 suspects in the probe.
