Alfano premier of centre-right victory, says Berlusconi
Ex-premier also has 'candidate for presidency'

(ANSA) - Rome, February 12 - Ex-premier Silvio Berlusconi
said Tuesday he would indicate former justice minister Angelino
Alfano as the candidate for the premiership in the event of a
centre-right victory in general elections on February 24 and 25.Alfano, 43, is secretary of Berlusconi's People of Freedom (PdL) party, which is leading the centre-right coalition.
The three-time premier also told ANSA he had a nominee for president of the republic to replace Giorgio Napolitano, who finishes his term in May after seven years in office.
