Flights resume from Venice after 'Lady Goga' burst tyre

(ANSA) - Venice, February 11 - Flights resumed from Venice's Marco Polo airport in the early hours of Monday after major disruption was caused by a tyre bursting on a private plane carrying Kazakh billionaire Gaukhar Ashkenazi during takeoff.

No one was hurt in the incident but flights from the airport were halted for much of Sunday as engineers had to empty the fuel tank of the plane carrying the beautiful Ashkenazi, who has been nicknamed Lady Goga by gossip magazines, before moving it off the runway.

Ashkenazi recently broke up with Fiat scion Lapo Elkann.
