University professor in Pavia arrested for corruption
Used campus property to build and sell flats

(ANSA) - Pavia, February 7 - A University of Pavia professor
was arrested by police Thursday morning for alleged corruption.
Angelo Bugatti, who also held a management position in the
university, is accused of helping a builder working on a
university construction site use part of the site for commercial
ends.According to investigators, Bugatti allowed the builder to construct, and put up for sale, apartments on land that belonged to the university and was supposed to be used to house new student facilities.
