Mario Monti does not exclude role as future minister
Cautions that it is premature to broach subject

(ANSA) - Padua, February 6 - Italian caretaker Premier Mario Monti said on Wednesday he would not exclude serving as a minister in the next government.
He cautioned, however, that it was premature to speak of appointments, since the outcome of parliamentary elections February 24 and 25 is still uncertain.
"There is still a century from now to then," Monti told journalists, "Thus the subject is premature".
He emphasized that a "large coalition" is required to resolve the country's emergencies.
"We are ready to collaborate with everyone, (but) only everyone inclined toward true reforms."
