(ANSA) - Rome, February 6 - Centre-left leader Pier Luigi
Bersani told outgoing Premier Mario Monti that the Democratic
Party (PD) would not drop its alliance with the left-wing SEL
group in order to work with the former European commissioner's
platform after this month's election."My alliance is my alliance and no one touches it," Bersani said after Monti suggested the PD would have to drop SEL to form a post-election pact with his reform ticket backed by centrist parties.
