Over-charged water bills to be reimbursed in Italy
State energy authority approves refund procedures

(ANSA) - Rome, February 1 - Procedures to reimburse
over-paid water bills throughout Italy in 2011 were approved on
Friday, the State Energy Authority announced.After consulting with the Council of State administrative appeals court, the authority said that refunds would be issued for over-charged bills issued from July 21 to December 31, 2011.
According to the authority, the decision was due to "non-coherent calculations" in billing during the specified time frame.
