(ANSA) - Rome, January 31 - Italy's supreme Cassation Court
ruled Thursday that the charge of group drug use does not exist
under Italian law.
The top court upheld a 2011 decision which ruled that
members of a group could not be charged collectively for being
present when other members consumed or bought drugs.
Instead each person must be charged individually, the
Cassation upheld, calling the charge of group drug use
"criminally irrelevant".
