(ANSA) - Rome, January 29 - Police in Naples have nabbed a
mother and father for robbing pedestrians while aboard a scooter
and taking their four-year-old son along for the ride.
The alleged thieves, Massimo Pesce and Paola Caldieri, were
fingered by a 70-year-old man who accused them of zipping by and
grabbing his iPhone while their son held on and watched.
Police said it was not the first report of the mom-and-dad
duo taking their son along to steal on the scooter.
The boy has been placed in the custody of a grandmother.
