Arturo Meola 'prominent element' who switched clans

Camorra assets seized (ANSA) - Naples, January 29 - Italian police on Tuesday seized two apartments, two cars and a powerful motorbike belonging to a leading member of the Neapolitan Camorra mafia.

Arturo Meola was a "prominent element" in the powerful Di Lauro clan who then took on a top role in the Scissionisti splinter group during a turf war over the last few years, police said.

The seized assets amounted to 500,000 euros.
