(ANSA) - Rome, January 25 - AS Roma could lose striker Mattia
Destro for "about two months" after tests showed Friday he tore
his right meniscus in Wednesday's 2-1 Italian Cup semi-final
first leg win over Inter."As well as spraining his ankle, the forward suffered a lesion to the meniscus of his right knee," the Roman club said in a statement.
The Ascoli Piceno-born striker, 21, joined Roma from Siena last year and has scored four goals in 10 games this season.
He has four Italy caps and one goal for his country.
Roma are seventh in Serie A, 15 points behind leaders Juventus.
