Berlusconi calls Grillo's Five Star Movement 'uninfluential'

(ANSA) - Rome, January 24 - Former Italian premier Silvio Berlusconi, who is leading the centre-right coalition in the upcoming February general elections, on Thursday called the anti-establishment Five Star Movement founded by Italian comedian Beppe Grillo "uninfluential".

"The polls say Grillo has just over 10% and is not influential," Berlusconi told Radio Due. According to an average of the latest polls, Grillo is polling at 12.9%. "He has criticized all that is in existence," added Berlusconi, "but he hasn't come forward with any proposals".
