(ANSA) - Bologna, January 23 - 'Ndrangheta mobsters in
Bologna were threatening to kill a local journalist for writing
about them before they were arrested, police said Wednesday.
"Either he stops or we shoot him in the mouth," said
suspected mob boss Nicola Femia in a tapped phone conversation
with his alleged henchman Guido Torello.
The journalist, Giovanni Tizian, writes for the Gazzetta di
Modena.
A number of suspected members of the Calabria-based
'Ndrangheta, which is believed to be the most powerful mafia
group in Italy, were arrested across the country on Wednesday.
