Homeless man found dead in Naples
Forensic experts intervene amid general indifference

(ANSA) - Naples, January 22 - Forensic experts were called
in to identify the body of a homeless man found dead in central
Naples on Tuesday morning under the indifferent gaze of
passers-by and habitues of a nearby cafe'.The man, thought to be aged between 50 and 60, was found wrapped in blankets beneath the colonnade of the elegant glass-roofed Galleria Umberto shopping arcade opposite the southern Italian city's famed San Carlo opera house.
Homeless people have recently been sheltering in the Galleria, which is also one of Naples' landmarks, police said. The man's death was reported by another homeless person who had been sleeping nearby. The cause of death was unclear.
