Soccer: Inter, Galatasaray meet to finalise Sneijder move
Dutchman announced Sunday that he is joining Turkish side

(ANSA) - Milan, January 21 - Galatasaray Chief Executive
Lufti Aribogan met Inter Milan Chairman Massimo Moratti in Milan
on Monday to finalise the details of Wesley Sneijder's move to
the Turkish champions.
The Dutchman is set to move for a transfer fee of 7.5
million euros and will reportedly earn an annual salary of five
million euros in Istanbul.Sneijder has not played since September after a stand-off with Inter following his refusal to accept the club's request that he take a salary cut in exchange for a contract extension.
The playmaker announced he had agreed to join Galatasaray on Sunday in an interview with the Turkish club's website.
"It will be amazing, I can't wait to go and play my first game," he said. "I will make Galatasaray's fans very proud and happy".
The 28-year-old joined Inter from Real Madrid in 2009.
He was central to Inter winning an unprecedented Champions League-Serie A-Italian Cup treble in 2010. He also helped the Dutch national team reach the World Cup final that year.
