Italians win youth World Pastry Championships
Forino, 22, and Verga, 21 give Italy second consecutive victory

(ANSA) - Rimini, January 21 - Two Italian chefs won the
Sigep Youth World Pastry Championships in Rimini on Monday.
Gianluca Forino, 22, and Davide Verga, 21, represented
Italy in the under-23 section of the world's most important cake
and confection competition.
Japan won second place and Singapore won third.Finalists also hailed from Brazil, Taiwan, Australia, Switzerland, South Korea, New Zealand and France.
An Italian pair won the top prize the last time the biennial competition was held in 2011.
