Fiat inks deal with Mazda to make Alfas in Japan (ANSA) - Milan, January 18 - Fiat and Mazda signed an accord Friday for the Japanese carmaker to make a new Alfa Romeo two-seater roadster for the global market in Japan.

The car will be made in Mazda's Hiroshima plant from 2015, a joint statement said.

The agreement, which follows an announcement in May, will help Fiat subsidiary Alfa Romeo reach its goals by 2016, the companies said.
