'More than 130,000 immigrants asked for papers'

(ANSA) - Rome, October 16 - More than 130,000 illegal
immigrants applied to get papers during a month-long
'regularisation' window that has just ended, the interior
ministry said Tuesday.The total was 134,576, the ministry said.
Milan saw the most applications followed by Rome, Naples and Brescia.
