Italians to get electronic ID
All-in-one card will help streamline access to services

(ANSA) - Rome, August 31 - Italian Premier Mario Monti and
his government are pushing to speed up the switch over to a
combined electronic identity card for Italians in a move to
streamline the country's infrastructure.A range of public services will be more easily accessible with an all-in-one card that can be used for identification and for national services like health care.
